Hannah Perkins

Paula and I have been looking into visiting Hannah Perkins. Hannah Perkins is a physiological school. It is an elementary school and the teachers there track the progress of the students. The students are not mentally ill, they are just under a observation. If Paula and I were to work there we would be working with different teachers and the different projects they do with different students. I think it would be a really great project to look into more.

CAS Visit to MOCA

Today I visited MOCA with Elizabeth, Emma Cherry, and Emily Nelson. We looked that the options that would be available to us at the museum. I would be really interested in the public relations piece of the museum. They had openings in their museum store. Last year I worked at the store at CMNH and it was interesting. I learn how a small business ran, but all I really did day in and day out was stock and the selfs. In the end I spent most of my time working on a float, which was not really what I was there for. But I guess I was helping out. So I am looking for a more involved option for this year. They do have the option of doing Public Relations for the museum which I think would be awesome. One I would be learning about how someone doing public relations works day in day out. So that would be nice to see. And I would have the opportunity to see the inner workings of the museum.

We sat down with the members of the staff we would be working with. When they asked me what I was really interested, I really couldn't come up with genuine answer. I guess I will have to figure it out as I go along. I hope it all goes well.
